our story

With increasing pressure on agriculture in the form of regulations and litigation, and misinformation being shared about the effects of farming, ranching and timber production on our environment, we recognized the need to get together to strengthen our voice.

Wildfires and drought conditions are an added stress on our watershed, and have resulted in increased challenges in recent years.

We'd like to share the truth about the benefits of agriculture, not just in terms of the products we contribute to our community and the world, but also the benefits in terms of wildlife habitat, conservation, groundwater supply, air quality, scenic spaces and youth development.

We are passionate about our lifestyle, and want to preserve it for future generations. Working together with all of the water users and appropriate agencies within our watershed, we believe we can ensure a sustainable future for all of the beneficial uses of the Shasta River.

Formed in 2022, we are a a 501c3 tax exempt, non-profit organization registered with the State of California.
